PREREQUESITE: You must be a certified animal chiropractor [AVCA/ IVCA/ equivalent]
(or DC/DVM student in pursuit of animal chiro certification) prior to taking this course

Course Contents
Friday 2pm - 7pm
Lecture - 2 hours
C+T-spine : Review of regionally specific anatomy, common pathology, clinical presentations. Conditions included: IVDD, vestibular, hemivertebrae, and more
Lecture - 2 hours
Forelimb: Review of regionally specific anatomy, common pathology, clinical presentations. Conditions to be covered include: Medial Shoulder instability, OCD, Elbow Dysplasia, and more
Lecture-1 Hour
Safety, behavior: Discuss common signs of stress in dogs and overview of "fear free" VS different methods of restraint
Sat 8am - 7pm
Lecture - 1 hour
Gait + neurologic /orthopedic exams: Review of systematic gait evaluation and hands on palpatory ortho/neuro evaluation
Lecture - 1 hour
Review of adjusting protocols of cevical, thoracic, and forelimb.
Wet Labs- 3 hours
Practice hands-on techniques as per discussion from morning lectures. Learn ortho / neuro / MSK examinations to rule out common pathology
Lunch- 1 hour
Catered lunch to the office.
Lab- 3 hours
Clinical rounds style with patients with common pathologies discussed / discussion on chiropractic approach to treatment
Lecture - 2 hours
Lecture on collaborative care and note-taking to build credibility and inspire referrals.
Sun 8am - 1pm
Interactive lecture - 2 hours
Low Tech rehab techniques for cervical, thoracic, and forelimb complaints.
Interactive lecture - 2 hours
Refining your marketing message so you can attract your ideal customer.
Round table - 1 hour
Closing remarks, questions, reflection on learning over the weekend

The only pre-requisite is that you are a DC or DVM with your animal chiropractic certification or be in pursuit thereof.
The Hindlimb module will be offered in the fall and is recommended as the first course to take in the series.
The Forelimb module will be offered in the spring; the hindlimb module is a suggested pre-requisite to this course.
Friday - light snacks and water will be provided.
Saturday - Coffee + light morning snacks. Lunch will be provided.
Sunday - Coffee + light morning snacks.
This course is located in Carrollton (a suburb of Dallas, TX).
Exact location will be provided upon registration. No off site labs.
There are 2 major airports nearby - DFW and Dallas Love Field.
Both are located within a 30min drive from the location
As this is a major metro area, there are many ride-share options.
There are accommodations aplenty.

We prefer that no children attend the course due to the inherent risk of being around dogs that could bite.
Please be mindful that all dog models provided are patients. Be respectful and thankful to owners for donating their time.
Do NOT solicit your services to pet owners should you seek to practice in or around Dallas. These models and their attendance have been coordinated by an established animal chiropractor already.
We are here to foster a collaborative learning environment. No one license is superior to the other.
The intent of this course is not to "diagnose" but rather know how to recognize if a patient is an ideal candidate for chiropractic care or not and how to appropriately manage common MSK complaints from a chiropractic perspective.
No on-site video taking permitted.
At the time of registration, payment is due in full.
If there is a cancellation 60 days prior to the start of the seminar, payment will be refunded in full.
If there is a cancellation less than 60 days of the start of the seminar, payment is forfeited. (Participants can choose to have a credit for a future seminar.)
